There’s a number of reasons why December is the most wonderful time of the year! And I must say that one of them is the KLAY Prep Schools and Daycare’s presentation of Santa’s Village – a day long merry carnival, filled with the fun and frolic of Christmas for both the little ones and not so little ones!
This year, the event took place on the 7th of December at the inner-circle ground in Whitefield, Bangalore. In it’s second year now, the event has certainly grown in scale – a sign of it’s immense success, with scores of people participating this year.
On entering the grounds, you are transported to a different world, a world filled with an array of bright Christmas colors, balloons, laughter, Santa and kids with cotton candy.
This year was even more entertaining for the kids with the mini-train, pony rides, the petting zoo and not to forget the KLAY stall giving away goodies to the kids while the mums and dads indulged in some retail therapy and food at the Christmas bazaar.
But what makes the Santa’s Village an anticipated event throughout the year? Well my guess is that it’s all about the kids. Directed by the teachers and staff of the school, the children dressed in adorable costumes and performed skits, songs and dances entertaining and engaging the parents. There’s no doubt that a lot of hard work went into this and the teachers sure pulled out all stops to put up the program with much love.
The music band ‘Bluemountain’ brought the evening to a close by entertaining the crowds with a few groovy numbers. Click HERE for more pictures of ‘Bluemountin’
A perfect note to end a perfectly composed day!
