Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, England, about 2 miles west of Amesbury and 8 miles north of Salisbury. One of the most famous sites in the world, Stonehenge is the remains of a ring of standing stones. It has been estimated that the construction started around 3000 BC.
Its been about 4 years since I visited this but remember the feeling of awe just standing there staring at the rocks and the miles of endless green all round them. The purpose of why these rocks stand here is largely speculated in today. But which ever angle you look at it there is a sense of mystery about the whole place. This place is a must to visit if you are in the UK. Hope you like the image.
